Setting up

Set up in three steps

  1. Connect your store

    Install the PuffinMail plugin for WooCommerce or the extension for Magento 2, and paste your store key.

  2. Choose the timing and coupon

    In your store’s PuffinMail settings, choose when reminders go out and whether the second one includes a coupon.

  3. Edit the email and switch it on

    Start from the ready-made reminder email, make it yours, send yourself a test and turn it on.

Questions

Do guest shoppers get reminders?

Yes, once we know their email address: when they’re signed in, or once they’ve typed it at checkout.

Who can I send cart reminders to?

Reminders are marketing emails, so send them to people who agreed to hear from you. On WooCommerce they go to newsletter subscribers only unless you change it, and every email includes an unsubscribe link that’s honoured straight away.

Can I change how the email looks?

Yes. Edit the ready-made email in the visual editor or paste your own HTML; the cart items, restore link and coupon are filled in for each shopper.
